Jan05 The Cornerstone of American Society 2013

I take parenting seriously.  I take it seriously because I believe – without a shadow of a doubt – that the family unit sets the dynamic for our society.

And family units are getting destroyed these days.

Those faces?  They are the faces of future citizens of America.  Future voters.  Future tax payers.

They make up America.

 Faces full of hope for the future.  Faces full of innocence, unscarred by life.  Faces with pure joy.  Faces filled with spirit. Eyes bright with excitement at what is to come…

They are the future.  I am their teacher.

Sobering.
